ECDIS TYPE-SPECIFIC COURSES

  • Scanned copy of the candidate's Passport required for uploading online during the test

    Course Description

    Our ECDIS Type-Specific Courses are approved by ECDIS manufacturers. This 2-day online course provides faculty support, allowing candidates to ask questions during guided tutorials while their progress is closely monitored.
    The course consists of the following :-
    • Guided Tutorials (16 hours)
    • Free Play - to practice freely on the manufacturer's original, type-approved, software
    • The ECDIS Type-Specific online training course offers two test attempts within 24 hours (70% pass mark). This 16-hour guided tutorial equips officers with essential system knowledge for watch-keeping, complying with STCW and ISM Code, and meets the familiarization requirements of IMO Model Course 1.27 and MCA MIN 442 M+F for ECDIS 900 functions.
